Model Movement Workshops
All models must master the art of moving gracefully on set to produce a variety of stunning images that highlight both themselves and the clothing (product) effectively. Unfortunately, many models struggle with this concept and find it difficult to achieve high level results. This is where a gap exists in the industry. How are they expected to learn professional skills without prior experience on set? That's where I step in to assist!
Workshop Overview:
This workshop spans several weeks, providing models with the chance to:
Practice their skills
Submit assignments
Receive constructive feedback from peers and coaches
Make necessary adjustments
Repeat the process
Through this approach, models can continuously improve their abilities. This foundational work is essential before being compensated as professional talent, as it allows models to enhance their value and increase their chances of being re-booked by clients.
Facial Expression Workshops
Models often overlook the importance of their facial expressions when learning how to move on set. When Sara and I evaluate potential talent for signing, we examine the variety of expressions in a model's portfolio. If a model consistently displays the same expression in every shot, it indicates a lack of experience. Clients can easily recognize this as well.
Our facial expression workshops are fantastic for addressing insecurities related to your appearance, smile, or any perceived flaws that may restrict your range and lead to a more cautious, uninspired performance. During these sessions, we assess each model's homework collectively, adopting the perspective of a client to challenge their notions of what constitutes “good photos.”
Interestingly, the images chosen by the group often differ significantly from those the model favors. This class truly transforms your understanding of imaging, expands your range, and enhances your confidence to explore and enjoy the shooting experience on set.
Study Brands Effectively Workshop
Models often fall into the trap of waiting for their agents to reach out, believing they cannot progress without direction. This mindset can severely hinder their careers. As a talent, it’s essential to immerse yourself in studying the industry and the brands you aspire to work with. But how can you do this effectively? This workshop serves as a valuable resource for talents at all levels, teaching them what to study about their desired brands. It will guide you on how to utilize that information to enhance your skill set, portfolio, casting opportunities, and overall understanding of the industry and its operations. Your agents are working to provide you more opportunities and it is your job to be ready and prepared when the opportunities arrive.
Portfolio Review Workshop
Nearly all models find it challenging to grasp why agents and clients choose specific photos for their portfolios and campaigns. They often assume there are better options that would yield superior results, but this belief is frequently misguided. Agents select photos based on their daily interactions with clients, understanding their preferences, brand imaging, and what resonates best with them. This knowledge directly influences the images presented in a model's portfolio. Conversely, models tend to scrutinize their images, fixating on aspects they dislike about themselves, which distorts their perception of the overall image through the lens of their insecurities. The course addresses this issue, guiding models to adopt a client-centric perspective, allowing them to identify images that are not only attractive but also intriguing to get attention from the clients they want to work with. .

The modeling industry can be intricate and bewildering, filled with conflicting information and opportunistic individuals lurking at every corner. This complexity can make it challenging to navigate, which is precisely why we developed this course.

Proper Submission Techniques: We begin with how to effectively submit to agencies, highlighting our recommended “do’s” and a wealth of “do nots,” complete with real-life submission examples we've encountered in the past.

Industry Standards: This course offers authentic, industry-standard information, empowering you to discern when someone is providing alternative insights or attempting to charge you for representation illegitimately.
